Jack Lunn Construction has announced its 2009 Employee of the Year as Health & Safety Officer Tony Skidmore.
The company’s Managing Director, Stephen Bradbury, presented the award to Tony at the Annual New Year Dinner Dance held earlier this year at The Crowne Plaza in Leeds.
Every year, the company rewards a member of staff who has demonstrated commitment, hard work and achievement above and beyond the requirements of their role.
On presenting the award to Tony, Stephen Bradbury commented: “Tony holds an important position within the business and constantly strives to further enhance our high standards of health and safety compliance. He consistently demonstrates a passion and enthusiasm for his role and, although he has been with the business less than a year, his dedication to implementing and maintaining the highest quality health and safety management is a key asset to the company. The Board feels he is a very worthy winner.”
On receiving this important company accolade, Tony thanked the whole of the Jack Lunn Construction team saying that achieving such high health and safety standards was only possible thanks to their ongoing support and the commitment of everyone to drive risk from the business.
Tony joined Jack Lunn Construction in March 2009. He is both a member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
