"Jack Lunn (Construction) Limited has shown a commitment to protecting the health and well-being of its employees and others. We hope other businesses and organisations will follow its lead and strive for continuous improvement in health and safety management".
David Rawlins, RoSPA Awards Manager

Health & Safety is of paramount importance to our company and as expected we take all reasonable, practical measures to ensure the safety, health and welfare of all our employees and all persons connected to our company in fulfilment with our legal responsibilities. However, as a socially responsible contractor we are actively involved in achieving Health & Safety standards over and above legal requirements.
Our construction arm, Jack Lunn (Construction) Ltd recently celebrated winning one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards in 2008.
The Silver Award was presented at a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel, National Exhibition Centre, on Wednesday May 14. The RoSPA awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they help to ensure that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place. Entering the awards scheme reinforces the message that good health and safety is good business and clearly demonstrates an organisation’s dedication to the achievement of high levels of performance in this crucial area.
